Our Steampunk lamps are manufactured by hand with re-purposed, vintage and present-day components to serve you long into the future. Just like craftsmen of the past, we measure and cut each piece of iron, use taps and dies to make threads, plan and fabricate the wiring and inspect each and every part before assembly.
This process is time-consuming, labor-intensive and adds to the final cost of the product. However, when you receive your lamp, you'll know that you are receiving "one of a kind" and that no one has another exactly like yours. There are endless possibilities in the assembly process to make yours uniquely different from others.
As with any quality hand made product, you might pay more. However, you will find the quality provides much more value than the increase in price. You'll know it's made here in the United States without the use of child labor or "slave wages" that are prevalent in many other countries. Most pieces are numbered and the designs are registered and copyrighted. Infringement will be vigorously prosecuted.Our iron art is unique as well. You will find a conversation piece in every piece of art we make. It too, takes extra time to measure, hand-cut iron, weld and assemble. Custom art pieces take up to 3 weeks to complete because of the extra labor required to complete each step of the manufacturing process.
